I hold a Master’s degree in Financial Planning from Griffith University along with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle. I’m a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.
I started my Financial Planning career with Whittaker Macnaught in 2004 before founding Solace Financial with my colleagues in 2013. I have seen thousands of clients in my career and enjoy every aspect of my job. I have vast experience in Aged Care, Investments, Retirement and Body Corporates. The buck stops with me. I’m the licensee, a business owner, and a senior financial adviser at Solace Financial.
I enjoy spending time with my wife Brydie and two kids, James and Edward. As a family, we enjoy taking short trips away, usually either to Toowoomba or Coffs Harbour.
Much to my kids’ dismay, I’m a New South Welshman, having grown up in Coffs Harbour. Following on from my university days in Newcastle I’m a loyal Newcastle Knights supporter.
I enjoy researching stocks and investments and I’d go as far as to say that this is my hobby along with my job.
